FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
David Peterson Aquacolorist – January 3-29, 2026
ELK GROVE, December 1, 2025 – The Elk Grove Fine Arts Center will present a featured collection with David Peterson Aquacolorist January 3-29, 2026, with a First Saturday Public Reception on January 3 from 4-7 p.m. The reception includes an artist talk, refreshments and live music.
“David Peterson is known for his unique abstract watercolors that represent the world we live in. His regular plein air workshops allow painters to get out of the studio and paint what they see. With work in dozens of private collections across the county, Peterson is an award-winning watercolorist who paints recognizable and familiar scenes of our own neighborhoods, urban scenes and California landmarks.”
The Elk Grove Fine Arts Center presents monthly art exhibitions and a regular art workshop series including classes on batiking, ceramics, drawing, watercolor and more. Adult students may register online at elkgrovefineartscenter.org/classes.
