From the Board President
April 2026 brings two important and exciting changes for the Center. The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrea Morris as Executive Director. Andrea’s background is extensive in the art field and includes being active in several galleries, serving on the Board of Directors of Lodi Community Art Center, as a competition judge, acrylics art instructor, and as an award-winning artist. Her business background includes accounting, IT technical training, and as a Small Business owner for more than ten years. Andrea starts this new position on April 1 and we encourage you to visit and meet her.
In addition, the Board of Directors makes assignment changes this month as Linda Ball returns as the Board Secretary. Linda previously held this role and we are so appreciative of her willingness to step back in as we focus on our exciting future. This position was graciously covered by Cheryl Griess, who remains as interim Vice President.
Thank you all for your dedication to the Center, your commitment to share your talents with the community, and together we can be assured that the mission of the organization is achieved as we approach 20 years in Elk Grove.
My Best,
Peggy Forseth-Andrews, Board of Directors President
