FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Artists of the Short Center North – April 5-23, 2025
ELK GROVE, March 1, 2025 – The Elk Grove Fine Arts Center will present Artists of the Short Center North, April 5-23, 2025. The exhibition opens with a First Saturday Public Reception on April 5 from 4-7 p.m.
Short Center North was developed in 1978 as an arts-based program for adults with developmental disabilities and offers opportunities to develop life skills, form meaningful friendships, and become more involved in the community. This annual exhibition includes work that allows these artists to share their talents and creativity, and participate in our region’s creative culture.
The Center will also present the Fourth Annual Elk Grove Festival of the Arts on Saturday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Old Town Plaza in Elk Grove. This family-friendly arts day features local and regional artists and demonstrations, live musical performances, student art exhibits, food trucks and refreshments, and a KIDS Zone for budding young artists. The event is free and open to the public. Learn more at https://elkgrovefineartscenter.org/festival/.
