WIDE OPEN SPACES – JUNE 1-27, 2024
Elk Grove, May 1, 2024 – The Elk Grove Fine Arts Center will present Wide Open Spaces, an annual competition show, June 1-27, 2024. The exhibition will open with a First Saturday Public Reception and Awards Presentation on June 1, 2024 from 4-7PM.
The Center brings back our annual tradition of celebrating nature in Wide Open Spaces, an art competition show. Nature and outdoors have inspired countless people, provoking deep thought, strong friendships, and a rooted bond with the Earth. Many artists use plein air painting to surround themselves in nature and inspire their artwork. The Center celebrates these moments with work in all mediums.
The Center will also display a seasonal selection of work by member artists including fine art jewelry, pottery and ceramics, and paintings in a variety of styles and subject matters. We encourage families to visit us and introduce the visual arts to their children and grandchildren. All artwork presented at the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center is welcoming and family safe.

About the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center
Established as a nonprofit arts organization on November 29, 2007, the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center is a place for local artists to share their work and for the community to experience the visual arts through classes and special events. The Center presents monthly fine art exhibitions, regional art competitions, a gift shop featuring functional art and jewelry, First Saturday public art receptions, adult workshops in a variety of art mediums, and the annual Elk Grove Festival of the Arts.
The Elk Grove Fine Arts Center is at 9020 Elk Grove Boulevard Suite 101 in Elk Grove and is open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 11AM-5PM, Sundays 11AM-4PM, and First Saturday Public Receptions monthly from 4-7PM. We are proud members of the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce and Old Town Elk Grove Foundation.
