FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL AND HELEN PLENERT – March 2-28, 2024
Elk Grove, February 1, 2024 – The Elk Grove Fine Arts Center will present All Creatures Great and Small and Helen Plenert March 2-28, 2024. The exhibitions will open with a First Saturday Public Reception and Awards Presentation on March 2, 2024 from 4-7PM.
All Creatures Great and Small is an annual art competition celebrating animals and creatures in all mediums. From animals that fly or crawl to those that walk or swim, they are all around us in our families and in nature. Artists are asked to capture the essence of an animal in a creative and expressive way.
Helen Plenert presents “People I’ve met…or wish I had” in the Foyer Gallery in March. This collection uplifts the viewer using local scenes that are often overlooked in our everyday journeys. In this series she explores faces of people she has met or wishes she had.
EGFAC reminds our patrons and supporters that we have moved to a new location on Historic Main Street in Old Town Elk Grove. The Elk Grove Fine Arts Center is located at 9020 Elk Grove Boulevard Suite 101. Business hours have expanded to Wednesday through Saturday from 11AM-5PM and Sunday 11AM-4PM.
