Bequests and Legacy Giving
For over fifteen years the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center has been an important part of the creative culture in Elk Grove. From regular adult art classes, to monthly exhibitions and featured shows, to Art Tours and the Elk Grove Festival of the Arts, we bring arts tourism revenue and meaningful art adventures to the entire community.
We invite you to be part of a lasting legacy in Elk Grove by joining us as a Legacy Donor. Your gift means long-term support for the visual arts – a vital part of our society and culture.
Benefits of Legacy Giving
- Including the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center in your estate planning is an important way to ensure the future of the visual arts in our region.
- Bequests create a long-lasting legacy of support, and there is no cost to you to make this type of contribution.
- You will have the satisfaction of knowing that an arts organization that is important to you will continue to receive support from your estate, and you may be able to lower your capital gains and estate taxes through this method of giving.
Ways to Give
Charitable Bequests: Add a provision to your will that clearly expresses your intention to donate a portion of the estate to the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center. You may wish to leave a specific dollar amount, a percentage of the estate, or the residuals of an estate after distributions are made to friends and loved ones.
Gifts of Stock, Investments, or Life Insurance: Many firms where you might have a savings, IRA, 401k, or life insurance plan, allow you to designate a beneficiary on your account. Contact your financial firm to discuss adding the Center as a beneficiary.
Please work with your financial advisor on making these important updates to your will, trust, or account.
