November 14: Working with Transfers 101 with Judy Lim

About the Class: You will learn the 7-step process I use to decorate items using transfers. I will pass on all the tips and tricks I have learned through the years to successfully create beautiful pieces using transfers on several different surfaces. Each student will decorate a 6x6x4 inch wood box with gorgeous Christmas transfers.

All Materials are Provided.

About the Instructor: I am a retired elementary school teacher. I taught Pre-3rd grade for 34 years. I have always loved being creative and I loved providing opportunities for students to unlock their creativity when I taught elementary school. I always did a lot of art in my classrooms. I started working with transfers several years ago. I am currently working with upcycled pieces. I have found that transfers are the perfect medium to upcycle with. I find upcycling with transfers, paint, and ink to be very creative and satisfying. I also love that I can give old items a new and beautiful look so that they can be used and enjoyed for several more years instead of being discarded.
