History of the Elk Grove Festival of the Arts
On April 30, 2022, the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center presented the inaugural Elk Grove Festival of the Arts, a full day of creative expression at the Old Town Plaza in the heart of our city. This partnership with the City, and the Elk Grove Arts Commission, brought together fine artists, musical performers, creative students, and the community to enjoy a bit of culture in the beautiful California spring.
Families participated in creative arts projects and a KIDS Zone presented by American River Family Counseling, while also marveling at a youth art show Exploration in Art presented by students of the Elk Grove Unified School District.
Collectors found dozens of fine artists with work at accessible prices – a vast open studios with live painting demonstrations, handcrafted jewelry, and fine and decorative artwork suitable for any home or business.
This event is presented annually by the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center as a way to introduce the community to the diverse world of the visual and performing arts in our region.
