About the Artist

Andrea Morris is an artist, instructor, gallerist, and business professional. She is currently the Executive Director of the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center.

“Art represents a lifelong conversation and continuous learning. There’s always more to see, always deeper to go.
I’ve been an artist my whole life, and I chose wildlife and the human figure painting because it’s a much vaster container for emotion than other subjects. Wildlife painting allows me to express awe and vulnerability, while the human figure offers a window into intimacy and resilience – emotions I rarely find in landscapes or still lives.”
