Women In Art, EG Space 4 Art, and Art Lectures – March 1-27, 2025
ELK GROVE, February 1, 2025 – The Elk Grove Fine Arts Center will present Women In Art and the EG Space 4 Art Student Show, March 1-27, 2025. The exhibition opens with a First Saturday Public Reception on March 1 from 4-7 p.m.
“In celebration of Women’s History Month we are curating a collection that represents images of women, historical perspectives, and important moments for female identifying artists. An additional featured collection includes work by students of the EG Space 4 Art, Elk Grove’s only art school offering a mix of programs for kids, teens, and adults.”
The Center will also present the first in a three-part lecture series by artist and scholar Dale Chilcoat. Women in the Visual Arts on March 8 focuses on American painter Mary Cassatt, Georgia Okeefe, Grandma Moses, and more. Guests may purchase art lecture tickets online at elkgrovefineartscenter.org or at the Center.

About the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center
Established as a nonprofit arts organization on November 29, 2007, the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center is a place for local artists to share their work and for the community to experience the visual arts through classes and special events. The Center presents monthly fine art exhibitions, regional art competitions, a gift shop featuring functional art and jewelry, First Saturday public art receptions, adult workshops in a variety of art mediums, and the annual Elk Grove Festival of the Arts.
The Elk Grove Fine Arts Center is located at 9020 Elk Grove Boulevard Suite 101 in Elk Grove. The galleries are open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and for First Saturday Public Receptions from 4-7 p.m. We are proud members of the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce and Old Town Elk Grove Foundation.
