Omid Izadi Featured Collection and the 12th Annual Open Fine Art Competition- September 1-26, 2026

ELK GROVE, C.A. – August 1, 2026 – The Elk Grove Fine Arts Center will present a featured collection by Omid Izadi, and the 12th Annual Open Fine Art Competition September 1 – 26, 2026. The exhibitions open with a First Saturday Public Reception on September 1 from 4 to 7 p.m.

“This September we welcome Omid Izadi’s collection A Decade: From Passion to Impact, showing in our Featured Gallery,” said Heath Buckmaster of the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center. “Izadi is inspired by Monet’s impressionism and loose style, and we see that in his animal anthropomorphic portraiture. The artist hopes to preserve the beauty of animals and show their importance to society in this stunning collection. We are also thrilled to bring back the annual Open Fine Art Competition, a judged show with cash prizes for entries in two and three-dimensional artwork and photography.”

The First Saturday reception is free and open to the public. Guests will enjoy refreshments, live music, and an opportunity to meet many of the featured artists exhibiting work at the Center.
