FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
A CELEBRATION OF ART WITH EGUSD – February 3-24, 2024
Elk Grove, January 1, 2024 – The Elk Grove Fine Arts Center will present A Celebration of Art with students from the Elk Grove Unified School District (EGUSD), February 3-24, 2024. The exhibition will open with a First Saturday Public Reception and Awards Presentation on February 3, 2024 from 4-7PM.
EGUSD students in grades 9–12 were invited to participate in this annual exhibition at the Center focused on promoting youth artists and art programs in local Elk Grove schools. We challenged them to use traditional artistic expression, or to surprise us to make us think, and articulate emotions in new and exciting ways. Awards and ribbons will be given during the First Saturday reception.
The Center will also present an annual Valentine’s Boutique in February with a collection of artwork, jewelry, and fine art gifts in heart and love themes.
EGFAC reminds our patrons and supporters that we have moved to a new location on Historic Main Street in Old Town Elk Grove. The Elk Grove Fine Arts Center is located at 9020 Elk Grove Boulevard Suite 101. Business hours have expanded to Wednesday through Saturday from 11AM-5PM and Sunday 11AM-4PM.
