10TH ANNUAL OPEN FINE ARTS, AND SWELL – MAY 7-26, 2022
Elk Grove, April 1, 2022 – The Elk Grove Fine Arts Center will present the 10th Annual Open Fine Arts Competition, and Swell by Amy Vidra, May 7-26, 2022. The Center will open for a First Saturday Public Reception on May 7 from 4-7PM.
The annual Open Fine Arts Competition, now in its 10th year, presents regional and national artists in six primary categories of drawing and pastel, sculpture and mixed-media, oil, acrylic, water media, and photography. This popular juried show awards cash prizes and ribbons for Best of Show, First, and Second place winners.
In the Foyer Gallery in May, Amy Vidra presents Swell, a collection of work representing the swell of the tides, emotions, and the movements of the world. The artist will present a talk, free to the public, on Saturday, May 21 at 5PM at the Center.

About the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center
Established as a nonprofit arts organization on November 29, 2007, the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center is a place for local artists to share their work and for the community to experience the visual arts through classes and events. The Center is located at 9683 Elk Grove Florin Road in Elk Grove and is open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 11AM-4PM and for special events.
