GATHER AND TEXTOLOGY – MARCH 16-19, 2022

Elk Grove, February 1, 2022 – The Elk Grove Fine Arts Center will present GATHER and TEXTOLOGY, two ceramics shows running concurrently with the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts regional event, March 16-19, 2022. Join us for the NCECA Special Event Reception on March 17, 2022, from 4:30-9:30PM at the Center.

The National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts is a dynamic organization that inspires global
advancement and appreciation of the field through programs, exhibitions, opportunities and
resources. The annual conference FERTILE GROUND will be shown in galleries and museums across the Sacramento region from March 16-19, 2022.

GATHER features works by Chotsani Elaine Dean, Rachel Eng, Jesse Ring, Dennis Ritter (coordinator), Amy Santoferraro, Grace Tessein, and Casey Whittier. TEXTOLOGY includes Stephanie Lanter, Dawn Holder, Emily O’Keeffe Connell, Kwan Jeong, Malcolm Mobutu Smith, Mimi Joung, Nicole Seisler, Thomas Muller, and Xia Zhang.

Also showing during the month of March, regularly displayed works by Center represented artists.

Guests are welcome at the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center while wearing masks or face coverings for the safety of all visitors and staff.

About the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center

Established as a nonprofit arts organization on November 29, 2007, the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center is a place for local artists to share their work and for the community to experience the visual arts through classes and events. The Center is located at 9683 Elk Grove Florin Road in Elk Grove and is open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 11AM-4PM and for special events.
