Elk Grove, January 1, 2022 – The Elk Grove Fine Arts Center will present SEEING THE WORLD IN BLACK AND WHITE by Mark Dendy, and the COMMUNITY ART DISPLAY, February 5-24, 2022. Join us for a First Saturday Art Reception on February 5, 2022, from 4-7PM at the Center.

Mark Dendy has a passion for photography and has been commissioned for projects in fashion, glamour, and architecture. The purpose of his black and white series is to invite the viewer to discover the intricate details in each work that might otherwise be shrouded by color. Dendy encourages collectors to study, ponder, and appreciate the world around us by focusing on these details.

Also showing in February the Community Art Display, a regular rotation of works by local artists in all mediums and available for purchase.

Guests are welcome at the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center while wearing masks or face coverings for the safety of all visitors and staff.
