Class Description:
This is an adult workshop for those who wish to learn how to teach artwork to young people or want to add easy and fun art projects to their daily life. Whether you are looking for new art adventures to share with youth or want to increase your own repertoire for solitary art days, this class will offer several different media to explore.
Projects include: Creating with Clay, Weaving with Yarn/ Ribbon/ Fabric, Stenciled Note Cards, Designing a Hardshell Gourd, and Seashell Embellishment. About the Instructor: Claudia Schwalm has taught art classes for both youth and adults for over 30 years. A California classroom educator and enrichment art instructor, Claudia has also authored and illustrated several picture books for children, including: “Being Bilingual is Fun!” , “Penguins Can..Los Pingüinos Pueden” and “Zack the Rabbit….Zack el Conejo”.
