Intermediate Chinese Watercolor Art with Annie Peony

FEES: $45 workshop + $10 materials
The intermediate course of traditional Chinese watercolor art introduces landscape painting and bird-and-flower painting. It focuses on teaching the painting methods of flowers, birds, insects, and beasts, further strengthening the control of soft brushes and the use of watercolor. The magical oriental watercolor art will take your creativity to the next level.
Instructor will supply all materials.
About the Instructor
Now, a California resident for the past few years, Annie Peony Zhang, has been honing her skills in painting for nearly three decades. She spent most of her life in Guangdong, China, and has been passionate about painting and calligraphy since childhood.
Inspired by the beauty of rural nature in her province, Annie started to paint landscapes in junior high and studied fine arts foundation courses in high school. After college, she attended the highly-respected Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, where she learned the ancient art of various Chinese painting. Later on, her luck brought her to be the pupil of the Chinese famous painter Yim Mau Kun ,California artist Gregory Condos and Jove Wang.
