Amy Vidra is a Sacramento-based abstract artist who received her BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art in Photography, with focus on mixed-media and sculpture. Her mixed-media work explores lines, lineage, raveling/unraveling and the link between memory and time, remembering and forgetting, letting go and becoming.
Her paintings, assemblages, and sculptures are about where she came from, who she was and who she is, and the process of the narratives we create. She is an award-winning abstract artist whose work has been in solo, group, and juried exhibitions nationally and internationally. She also teaches abstract and healing arts workshops, and has been a juror for abstract competitions in the Sacramento area.
