ABSTRACTLY SPEAKING – JANUARY 1-27, 2022
Elk Grove, December 1, 2021 – The Elk Grove Fine Arts Center will present ABSTRACTLY SPEAKING, an art competition show, January 1-27, 2022. Join us for a First Saturday Art Reception on January 1, 2022, from 4-7PM at the Center.
Abstractly Speaking, abstract art can touch the emotions in a fresh, raw and powerfully direct way. Art that does not attempt to represent external reality, but seeks to achieve its effect using shapes, forms, colors, and textures. This art competition show is judged by award-winning abstract painter Amy Vidra.
The deadline for entry into this art competition is December 13, 2021, and prize winners will be announced and awarded at the January 1, 2022 reception.
Guests are welcome at the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center while wearing masks or face coverings for the safety of all visitors and staff.

The entry deadline for this exhibition is December 13, 2021. The Center is currently in the entry and art intake process. High-resolution images for press will be available mid-December.

About the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center
Established as a nonprofit arts organization on November 29, 2007, the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center is a place for local artists to share their work and for the community to experience the visual arts through classes and events. The Center is located at 9683 Elk Grove Florin Road in Elk Grove and is open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 11AM-4PM and for special events.
